How I Oversaw My Monthly Budget

February 14th, 2010

Handling my monthly budget has always been a pain, juggling between regular monthly bills and unanticipated expenses. As soon as I got my pay, it was already spent. I got a lot of bills every month and put them off to the last minute, then dealt with them all in a flush. This leads to me taking over money from the next paycheck just to make it through. It’s not that I didn’t make enough money, it’s that I didn’t know how to manage my budget. In the case of any emergency, landed me even further in debt.

This situation is not unaccustomed for most of us. We try to control our expenditure and be careful with our money, but long before month-end, the money is gone. Paying Off bills is a juggling act that we don’t have the time or energy to handle. There’s always one bill that was forgotten or delayed, one more expense we weren’t prepared for. With school supplies and fees for the kids, groceries, new tires for the car, and the raising cost of petrol, just making it from paycheck to paycheck is difficult enough; saving money is out of the question. Meantime, debt is quietly building up. How can I get mybudget under control?

Luckily for me, I found a service which will help me budget my money more wisely and take away the tension of paying monthly bills, letting me focus on the things that really matter to my family. I can at last relax not worrying about money, knowing that my monthly budget are in good hands.

The financial planning process:
During your initial consultation, your budget consultant will evaluate all of your existing debts and monthly payments and prepare a plan that works for you. They will handle your money, setting aside money for savings, emergencies, and long term investment, ensuring your family’s financial security. If you are planning a major purchase, this will be factored into your budget so that when you are ready to buy, the money will be there for you.

Your paychecks are typically deposited with your financial planner, and a separate account is set up for your living expenses. Your bills are directly delivered to your budgeting specialist for payment. There is a chance that your consultant can lower your monthly payments and reduce your outstanding debt by negotiating with creditors. A affordable monthly fee is assessed for all these services.

For me, the most important monthly service my budget specialist provides is peace of mind. No more hassle with bill payment; I know my bills will be paid on time, and that I’ll have money in reservation for life’s little emergencies. My budget is finally under control, thanks to my financial planning service.

Hair Loss Detection with Genetic Test Kit

October 9th, 2009

With age comes wisdom, but unfortunately for the majority of us, age also comes with hair loss. The scientific term for hair loss is alopecia, and for a long time modern science has been trying to find out why regular, healthy individuals sometimes lose their hair in particular areas or patterns. At Present, a new genetic test has been developed to ascertain the risk of hair loss or thinning in those who have not yet experienced the discouraging signals of alopecia. It’s called HairDX, and it’s changing the way men and women handle hair loss.

Currently the only FDA approved treatments for hair loss are successful in clinical trials at persevering existing hair instead of re-growing new hair. Based on your HairDX results, you can easily save your existing hair rather than waiting for the first signals of hair loss, then hastily trying to re-grow hair at a smaller success rate.

Obtainable only at Advanced Hair Studio, HairDX can give at-risk patients for hair loss a head start at preserving their existing hair. The HairDX test is easy and is perfect for men and women at least 18 years of age. A trained professional at Advanced Hair Studio simply collects a genetic information sample from the inside of the patients cheek via a swob. The results are analyzed and returned to the doctor in a secure, private manor.

Results from HairDX are invaluable to those who are worried about losing their hair. Test results show whether or not your genes show a specific variant in the androgen receptor gene (AR), which is the cause for alopecia. Test results are clear and easy to understand: Men who test positive for the variant AR gene have an approximately 70% chance of developing Male Pattern Hair Loss (MPHR). Conversely, men who test negative for the variant AR gene have approximately a 70% chance of not developing MPHR. Test results are determined differently for women.

A professional at Advanced Hair Studio will be able to provide you with next step solutions based on your individual test results.

Dont wait for the warning signs of onset MPHR, alopecia, or hair thinning ” Talk to the staff at Advanced Hair Studio about the simple, painless HairDX test. You can save an abundance of time, money, and energy in the future, and give yourself a fighting chance at preserving and keeping your natural hair.

Household Budgeting

September 27th, 2009

Handling my household budget can sometimes be very stressful, but not managing it can put me into financial debt before I realize it. The gains from looking after my budget correctly not only save me money but help to relieve some stress I have concerning my debt.

There are numerous things that I have in my life that regulate me financially, but there is probably nothing that impacts my finances more than a family budget. There are not a lot of individuals today who have learned how to budget and this can cause many financial troubles, including debt. One main cause why so many of us do not create a budget is because we think it is just too complicated. Actually, producing a budget does not have to be challenging at all; it is as easy as penciling down what we spend and updating it every month. By doing this, we do not spend more than we have.

It is important for me to keep in mind that my budget is only my plan for my monthly expenditure. Just like any program, my budget does require me to manage it to keep it operating correctly. Organizing information was the first step in producing my budget. I monitor my expenses like car payments, utilities, car insurance policy, living expenses, etc. If I do not organize my budget, I can easy find myself in debt. It is essential for me to know how much I need on expenditures each month.

I see two benefits with keeping an eye on with my finances through my budget. First of all, I am able to save money on superfluous expenditure. Secondly, I can keep myself from going into unnecessary debt. When I spend my money wisely, I buy only things that are unavoidable and I free up money that I can use on something that I want or can save it. With the surplus money I am able to save, I have the option of putting it aside and investing.

My Hair Loss Journey

August 8th, 2009

My hair loss treatment journey began the day I started to notice my receding hair line and my bald spot growing bigger. I would spend hours and hours looking for ways to comb my hair a particular way to hide my hair loss. I began wearing more hats on the weekends as I went out with my wife, acquaintances or family. Walking in to work every morning was an unpleasant experience without my hat on. You change the way you think when you are experiencing hair loss. It is so true that you never know what you have until you lose it. That can be true about your hair loss.

Having suffered from balding, I started to appreciate every strand of hair that I had left. It was as if with each individual hair I lost, so was a small percentage of my confidence gone as well. I was not alone, a acquaintance of mine had been suffering from the same problem as me. Yet lately he appeared so much more relaxed and I noticed that it was as if his hair was growing back. I didn’t wanted to bring it up but after a while I decided to ask. That is when I was recommended to Advanced Hair Studios. With just a few visits my friend Josh had not only regrown his hair, but his self-confidence as well. After speaking to Josh and understanding what Advanced Hair has done for him, I took the courage to make an appointment for a free consultation.

At first, I was a little wary. But within a few weeks the outcomes were apparent. Not only on my head, but in my behaviour. I started to lose the caps on the weekends and I quickly started to feel better about myself. My wife who has been complaining about my lack of interest in our relationship began to notice the change in that department as well. It is amazing how just a few visits to the Advanced Hair Studio had begun to change my life as a whole. I always felt as if the first thing people noticed about me was my bald spot. Now, I am not frightened to look people in the eyes again as I have my full set of hair back.

Advance Hair Studio has not only given me back my hair little by little, but a big piece of my confidence as well. If you are suffering from hair loss I highly recommend them as it has done so much for me in just a few months of treatments. Don’t let your self-confidence continue to be lost with your hair.

Strut Your Look: Overcoming Women’s Hair Loss with Medical Wigs

July 1st, 2009

The majority of us never imagined the breathtakingly human Amelia Dreskell, my life-long soul mate, might someday wear lace wigs. Her extravagant hair was synonymous with her femininity. But surprise surprise. She is still celebrated for her hair. Only a handful of souls think to notice that she dons synthetic lace wigs. Guess it’s no secret anymore.

When we were mere children in the hill country, we used to knocked ‘em dead. Five years later, her medical hair loss reared its head and she went bald. I hinted about a few lace wigs. Even so balding was no big deal to her. Unfazed by medical hair loss, she aggressively demonstrated her innate beauty.

Appearing at the school’s homecoming, we heckled till her beau accidentally kicked the ball (or however you say it) at the crowd. Such a sport, she went to grab it when her cute little hat flew right off, revealing her naked head. Undisturbed, she walked over and delivered it right back at him. What’d I tell ya about her spunk?

That said, everyone has insecurities. One time at our semi-monhtly stroll to the art gallery, the day she sat me down and informed me that she prefers to make do with a shorn head out of bitterness. She could never think about medical wigs, despite the fact that she knew it was a good idea. Then just like that she stopped talking and requested that I shouldn’t concern myself with it. She really needed help.

We got so worried about her. Shortly after, I asked her about taking care of this wig problem. Eventually we ended up with an agreement: lace front wigs for all! I used my credit card, and it was worth it.

Not sure who was more stunned by the wide selection of hair colors, textures and styles. She couldn’t believe that lace front wigs were very appealing for people, even superstars. These wigs for women’s hair loss made her so lovely. As for me, arranged an entirely creative ensemble around my wig. We do it all together, if you haven’t heard. Last Christmas she thanked me for the wig, and confessed it invites new vibrance for many occasions. It’s touching to witness her rediscover the sassy, feminine girl I remember. I’m right there with her.

The Honest Truth: it Helps to Believe in Great Expectations to Meet New Singles

June 28th, 2009

Usually, I don’t like to admit it, but life can be lonesome without a date. Here’s the scoup, merely hours ago I filed three years of back taxes. During my birthday party that comes from being alone, surprise! That actually happened. What does this mean? Actually, that’s the moment when I honestly looked into singles events in my area.

Nothing that can’t be fixed. I’ll meet new singles at a professional dating service, Denver Great Expectations. Probably could do me good. Why do I bring it up? I was at Julie’s soccer finals in Dallas last week, Richard asked me if I’ve met a special lady. At first I didn’t know what to say to that. My response was, “No.”

And of course Cousin Terry mindlessly kept jabbing me along the lines of my companionship situation. I joked to the whole group: “Hey look, I’ll never find a gorgeous single woman hanging out with you.”

Guess what? They all laughed at me. Shortly after, I fell asleep that night because the dating pressure was too much. I still have no idea what to do! Nothing was helping and I needed some damn help. Doug, who was just deployed on military commission suggested that I mingle at singles events by Great Expectations. I said, “That would do the trick.” Should have thought of it myself. I am truly grateful for the Great Expectations Dallas.

When I started, dating services were a novel thing to me. I’d never done anything like this before, that my hands started sweating. This slight disaster didn’t put an end to another incredible Great Expectations event. The night was a limo pub crawl from heaven. The greatest most memorable part of it all was the many enjoyable people I met, all available singles.

I started going to these splendid Dallas singles nights with Great Expectations, I met a handful of marvelous guys and gals who I could tell feel as excited as I am for how dating should be done. Now I can stop letting anyone get me down about being single. Surprisingly enough, dating with Great Expectations is enjoyable and just what I’ve been looking for.

Motivating Yourself To Succeed In Business

April 27th, 2008

You’ve got an idea for your business. Maybe it’s a
million-dollar idea. Most business ideas that end up being even
remotely feasible could be turned into a million-dollar idea
with the right tweaking. So you start out, gung-ho, to set the
world on fire and get your idea off the ground. Then BAM! It
happens. Your first obstacle.

You try this, and then you try that; you try to go around it, up
it, over it, through it, but nothing is working and you’ve just
about given up hope. You’re ready to throw in the towel. You
hate to just walk away, but yet you’re so down and out about it
now that you just don’t see any other way.

Maybe you’ve faced a situation like this before, and ended up
failing. We’ve all probably been there at one time or another.
Even Thomas Edison said that he “failed his way” to success.
It’s the rare individual who makes it big on his first business
deal. No baseball player learns to hit a homer on his first time
at bat, so why should we think we’re any different? It takes
hard work and perseverance to succeed at any task, especially if
it’s in a new area for us. And for most of us, being in business
is a new area for us indeed.

So instead of getting all down-in-the-mouth about the obstacle
facing you, decide - no, DETERMINE - that you’re going to beat
it. Look outside of your own little world for examples of how
others have beaten the same obstacle. Every business out there
that is successful, even if they’re in a totally different
field, has probably faced an obstacle similar to yours. And you
can be certain that businesses in the same or similar field
you’re in have faced obstacles similar, if not exactly the same,
as the one now facing you.

If your obstacles are more of an inner nature, and not from an
external source, you might need to plug into some of the
personal motivational stuff that abounds these days. Try looking
at stuff from Norman Vincent Peal, Zig Ziglar, or Tony Robbins.
These guys have all made careers out of teaching people how to
motivate themselves and bootstrap out of a trying situation.

But you must first DETERMINE that you’re going to win. Think of
the door-to-door salesman. He knocks on a lot of doors, and most
lead to nowhere, but he knows that numbers are on his side. It’s
a statistical game - some of those doors will open up, and you
never know which of those will lead to the sale. So the lesson
from them would be that YOU CAN NEVER STOP TRYING!

Till next time…Success to you!

Get Motivated Today

April 20th, 2008

For years, I had goals. I had dreams and ambitions. But I found
it really hard to find the motivation to get them done. When I
knew I should spend the day writing, other tasks always seemed
more important. There were clothes to wash, rooms to tidy. There
was always something on TV I needed to watch.

I’d look back at the end of each year and feel disappointed. My
ambitions seemed so far away, I wondered whether I was ever
going to achieve them. I was just not following through and
taking action on the things I knew I needed to do.

Then I discovered a system which has been the single biggest
factor to improving my life.

This system will help you focus on your purpose in life. It will
keep the things you want to achieve at the forefront of your
mind so you can focus on work that’s important. It’ll stop you
wasting time on things which just don’t matter.

But it’s not automatic. You can’t just do this once and expect
it to work forever. In the same way you can’t go to a gym once
and wonder why you’re still overweight three years later, you’ve
got to work though this system every day. It’s a habit you need
to consciously discipline yourself into doing.

To focus on your purpose in life, first work out what your
purpose is. For me, it was to own a business and become a
writer. For other people, it’s been about travelling the world,
becoming a millionaire, losing weight, clearing credit card debt
or finding a soul mate.

Decide now what’s important to you. What do you want to achieve
over the next month, year, two years. Decide how you want to
feel, or what sort of person you want to be. What house do you
want to live in, what car do you want to drive. Dream big and
find out what achievements will excite you. Be specific.

Don’t worry if you can’t immediately see how to make these
dreams come true. I had no idea how I’d start my own business,
or even what sort of business it should be when I first wrote
down that purpose. What’s important is that you choose some
goals that really excite you.

Write all these goals down on one sheet of paper. This is your
purpose statement.

Your purpose statement will guide your life. Every time you’re
planning what to do, let it guide you in the right direction.

Now you have to develop these three daily habits to really
motivate yourself into taking action.

Every Morning

The first thing you should do each morning is to recite your
purpose statement out loud. It’s important that you speak out
loud, and in an energetic tone of voice. Get excited! This is
your future you’re talking about here! Repeat it over and over
until you feel totally energised and thrilled about your future.

Then decide on three outcomes you want to achieve today that
will move you towards your purpose. Maybe it’s to make ten sales
calls, write the draft of a song, or read a chapter of a book.
Just make sure that all three outcomes move you one step closer
to fulfilling your purpose.

Every Four Hours

Throughout the day, you might find you loose focus of your
purpose and outcomes, especially when you first implement this
system. You need to remind yourself of your purpose regularly,
and get back the enthusiasm you had in the morning.

Set an alarm every four hours. Why four hours? I’ve just found
that this time span works well for most people. If you feel you
need more motivation, try three or two.

When your alarm goes off, review your purpose statement and
three outcomes again. Get excited. Read your purpose out aloud.
Remind yourself of the three outcomes you’ve committed to
achieving today. Think of something you could do now to make one
of the outcomes happen and do it.

Every Evening

As you go to bed, think about your day. How many of your
outcomes have you achieved? What could you have done differently
to achieve more? And, most importantly of all, allow yourself to
feel proud of how much closer you are to achieving your purpose.

Always On Mind

The purpose statement is key to this system. Write it down and
stick it up your wall. I can’t look at anywhere in my office and
not see my purpose, even today. It’s there as a prompt. I also
keep a copy in the front of my filofax. Any time, anywhere, I
can review my purpose and get myself to feel so motivated I
can’t fail to move forwards. By constantly reminding me of my
purpose in life, I’ve managed to make it happen.

This system works. And once you discipline yourself to carry out
the three daily habits, you’ll have a successful system that
will move your life forwards too.
